I currently work at The Los Angeles Times as Director, User Experience and Design. Bring it.
Chris Strimbu grew up with a deep love for anything related to the art world. He had a strong visual connection to a number of artists, but was deeply affected by the works of Salvador Dali, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, and pop-artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Drifting away from his fine art roots, Chris pursued a career in visual/product design, and has been involved in digital media for almost 20 years. It wasn’t until a few years ago that his passion for creating his own work was reignited, becoming a driving force and outlet for his ideas. He enjoys working in different mediums, but finds the technical and creative challenges of screen printing to be his main focus. Combining found objects, personal photos, textures and type, he strives to connect his work to personal themes.
