Japan is famous for its cherry blossom season, but I’ve also been fortunate to be in Japan during its fall season, which I actually like a lot better. The brilliant reds and yellows and all the fall colors are quite a spectacle for someone like me, who grew up in California and doesn’t really have experience with a full four seasons.
