The winter I stayed in Kyoto was a particularly mild one, so it was quite an event to be able to see snow before it melted. My classmate rang me up late at night and told me to look outside – it was finally snowing!
This was taken right outside of my apartment. It was a great, fun moment that reminded me of being a kid. Kyoto had so many experiences for me to rekindle my childlike sense of wonder.
